Flood watch is in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday March 12 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13.
The National Weather Service is forecasting moderate to heavy rain that may occur on Wednesday, March 12 through Friday, March 14. Light to moderate rain is expected Monday and Tuesday (March 10-11). Los Angeles County Flood Control District states that all protective measures to safeguard communities during the last series of storms remain in place. That includes 1000s of feet of k-rails deployed in Palisades and Eaton Burn Areas.

Protections are effective through July 31, 2025 and apply countywide including all 88 cities and unincorporated areas.

April 30th: In support of the Eaton Fire recovery efforts, the following summit will provide resources to aid youth affected by the disaster.
In the spirit of community unity, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and Rose Bowl Stadium are joining forces to host Empowering Tomorrow, Today: A Youth Leadership Summit, combining their previous youth empowerment programs into one impactful event including a resource fair and brunch, all completely free of charge!

Key Details: a fund of $32.2 million, dedicated to aiding our community during these challenging times.Grant Amounts: Depending on the size and specific needs of your household, you could be eligible for grants ranging from $6,000 to $18,000.Eligible Uses: These funds are available to help cover essential needs such as housing and living expenses, funeral costs, and necessary repairs that other aid does not cover.Prioritized based on need, factors include such things as insurance coverage, economic vulnerability, health conditions, and the extent of damage suffered.In-person support in both English and Spanish is at Disaster Recovery Centers
Apply For Federal Assistance Before Monday, March 31Homeowners, renters and businesses impacted by the wildfires have less than one week to apply for federal disaster assistance. Monday, March 31 is the deadline to apply for both FEMA disaster assistance and a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) low-interest disaster loan.
REMEMBER: You can apply for an SBA disaster loan at the same time you apply to FEMA for assistance. From FEMA site:
"Homeowners may be eligible for a disaster loan up to $500,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. SBA may also be able to help homeowners and renters with up to $100,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property, including personal vehicles.
Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets. SBA can also lend additional funds to help with the cost of improvements to protect, prevent or minimize disaster damage from occurring in the future."
